Follow-The-Filings is a public research site for SEC Form 13F data at followthefilings.com. We collect as little as we can.

If you just browse

Public pages work without an account. Servers keep ordinary request logs (path, time, IP, user agent) for uptime and abuse. If analytics are on, we prefer cookieless, privacy-friendly tools—not ad trackers.

If you create an account

We store your email, a hashed password, and whatever you choose to follow (managers, names, alert prefs). We use that to sign you in, send account mail (confirm / reset), and optional product alerts you turn on. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t use it for third-party ads. We don’t offer investment advice.

Who helps run this

Hosting, database, and email providers process data only to run the site for us. 13F content comes from public SEC EDGAR filings.

Your choices

You can change alert settings in the product when signed in. To delete an account, email the address on our account messages (e.g. the From line on alerts). We’ll remove personal data we don’t need to keep for security or law.

Kids

Not aimed at children under 13. Don’t register if you’re under 13.
