These Terms govern use of followthefilings.com and related services (“the Service”) operated by Follow-The-Filings (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. This is a starter product agreement—not formal legal advice.

The Service

Follow-The-Filings displays and organizes publicly available SEC Form 13F filing information for a curated set of institutional managers, plus related research tools (activity, ownership, earnings context, etc.). Account features let you save portfolio follows and managers, and optionally receive email alerts about matching 13F moves.

Not investment advice

Nothing on the Service is investment, tax, or legal advice. 13F data is as-filed with the SEC, may lag reality, may omit positions, and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for any investment decisions.

Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep credentials secure.
• You must be able to receive email at the address you register.
• We may require email confirmation before full access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service (spam, scraping that harms others, security attacks, etc.).

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break authentication, scrape in a way that degrades the Service, or access another user’s account data.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Automated access must respect reasonable rate limits and our technical protections.

Intellectual property & data sources

Site design, branding, and original content are ours or our licensors’. SEC filing content remains subject to applicable public-data rules and the SEC’s terms of use for EDGAR. Do not present our product as an official SEC site.

Availability

We provide the Service “as is” and “as available.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features (including free tiers and limits on follows) with or without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Service or reliance on 13F or other market data shown here.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise this page.
